Pyramid Residential Care Centre is a custom designed and built facility, offering 52 high care needs beds for residents. Located in Gordonvale, the centre is set amongst 7 acres of lush gardens and manicured lawns, providing each of the rooms and buildings with plenty of open space and fresh air. It’s a feeling of home away from home.
The buildings are designed for wheelchair access, as are the garden pathways. There are various outdoor spaces for the residents to enjoy, including two pergolas, shaded undercover seating, sunny courtyards and garden spaces.
Most of the centre’s interior is air conditioned for resident comfort. There are various buildings, connected by undercover pathways, containing numerous communal social spaces. These include dining areas, a television watching area and recreation hall. We provide our residents with access to a range of facilities. Pyramid Residential Care Centre is a high care facility. We also cater for residents with dementia. Registered nursing staff and care staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We provide residents with sole occupancy of a bed sitting room, with private en suite and courtyard. Each room has a wardrobe and single-bed with mattress, desk, chair, bedside table and reading lamps. The rooms are inclusive of linen, blankets, quilt and pillows, an easy chair, outside chair, phone socket and curtains. The bath / toilet areas have ceramic floor tiling, shower recess with special accessories, wash basin and toilet. Residents are encouraged to decorate their living space to suit their own personal taste, within reason.
